These terms and conditions apply to your use of the EverySmile Dental website at everysmile.co.uk and to the dental services provided by EverySmile Dental at our practice in Ratby, Leicester. Please read them carefully. By using our website or attending the practice for treatment, you are agreeing to these terms.

About Us
EverySmile Dental is a private dental practice based at 1c Desford Lane, Ratby, Leicester, LE6 0LE. The practice is led by Dr Aisha Shabir and all clinical team members are registered with the General Dental Council. Registration numbers for all clinical staff are available on request and are displayed within the practice.

Dental Treatment Terms
Consent to Treatment
All dental treatment at EverySmile Dental is carried out with your full informed consent. Before any treatment begins, your dentist will explain the proposed procedure, the associated risks and benefits, any alternative options available and the likely outcome if no treatment is carried out. Treatment will only proceed once you have confirmed your understanding and given your consent. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
For patients under the age of 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian unless the patient is assessed as Gillick competent to consent on their own behalf.
Treatment Plans and Estimates
Following your examination, you will be provided with a written treatment plan and cost estimate before any treatment begins. Fees quoted in your treatment plan are valid for 90 days from the date of issue. If your treatment plan changes due to clinical findings during the course of treatment, we will discuss any changes to cost with you before proceeding.
Fees and Payment
All fees at EverySmile Dental are payable at the time of treatment unless you have an active membership plan or an approved finance agreement in place. We accept payment by cash, debit card and major credit cards. Fees are displayed on our website and are available in full at the practice. All fees are subject to change and the current fee schedule will always be confirmed at your consultation or examination appointment.
Finance Agreements
Where patients choose to spread the cost of treatment through our finance partner Tabeo, separate terms and conditions apply to the finance agreement. These are provided directly by Tabeo at the point of application. EverySmile Dental is not responsible for the terms of any finance agreement entered into with Tabeo. Finance is subject to credit approval and eligibility. Full terms and conditions apply.
Membership Plans
Membership plans at EverySmile Dental are subject to separate membership plan terms and conditions which are provided at the point of enrolment. Membership plans are not dental insurance and do not guarantee the provision of any treatment beyond what is explicitly included in the plan. The 10% membership discount does not apply to Invisalign, dental implants, teeth whitening, veneers, composite bonding or other cosmetic treatments. Full terms are available at the practice.
Appointments
Booking Appointments
Appointments at EverySmile Dental can be booked online, by telephone on 0116 350 3322 or by email at hello@everysmile.co.uk. Booking an appointment constitutes an agreement to attend at the scheduled time.
Cancellation and Missed Appointments
We ask that you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice or appointments that are not attended without prior notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Patients who repeatedly fail to attend or cancel at short notice may be removed from the patient register at the discretion of the practice.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment we will always do our best to accommodate you within the time remaining. However, where there is insufficient time to carry out the treatment safely and to the required standard, we may need to reschedule. This is to protect the quality of your care and the appointments of other patients.
Emergency Appointments
We keep urgent appointment slots available for patients experiencing dental emergencies. Please call us as early in the day as possible on 0116 350 3322 so we can assess the situation and arrange the earliest available appointment. We cannot guarantee same-day availability in all circumstances.
Clinical Standards and Complaints
Our Clinical Standards
All clinical treatment at EverySmile Dental is carried out by General Dental Council registered clinicians in accordance with the standards set out by the GDC, the Care Quality Commission and current clinical best practice guidelines. All team members maintain their registration, continuing professional development and indemnity in line with their professional obligations.
If Something Goes Wrong
We always aim to provide an exceptional standard of care but we recognise that things can occasionally fall short of expectations. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or your experience at the practice, we want to know about it. Please speak to a member of the team, contact Kerry our Practice Manager directly or put your concerns in writing to hello@everysmile.co.uk.
We take all complaints seriously and will acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it thoroughly and respond to you with a full explanation and, where appropriate, a proposed resolution. A copy of our full Complaints Policy is available at the practice and on our website.
Dental Complaints Service
If you remain dissatisfied after we have responded to your complaint, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Dental Complaints Service, which handles complaints about private dental treatment in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Dental Complaints Service can be reached at dentalcomplaints.org.uk or by calling 0208 253 0800.
General Dental Council
All dental professionals at EverySmile are registered with the General Dental Council. If you have concerns about the fitness to practise of any registered dental professional, you have the right to raise those concerns directly with the GDC at gdc-uk.org.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EverySmile Dental excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of our website or from any inaccuracies in the information contained on it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Our liability to you in connection with dental treatment provided at the practice is governed by our professional obligations and applicable clinical negligence law and is not limited or excluded by these terms.
Privacy and Data Protection
The collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions and is incorporated here by reference. By using our website or receiving treatment at the practice you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law or operational requirements. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or attendance at the practice following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or with treatment received at EverySmile Dental will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
